The coolest sports event I ever went to was a county cricket match (Middlesex County vs. someone...) at Lords in 2004. It was a four-day match, and me and a friend spent a whole day there, just drinking beer, taking strolls on the field during breaks and basking in the sun. Every now and then something would happen on the field, but the thing I dig about cricket is the whole atmosphere. In the middle of the match we left to take a look at the zebra crossings in Abbey Road and had lunch at a nearby pub. Then we went back and watched the rest of the game drinking more beer. A lovely day, indeed!
