Ready For Love - Bad Company

Listen to the Mott The Hoople version sometime. It contains stuff that Ralphs and Rogers just left out. I used to play the MTH version in a band long before Bad Co came along, and yes... great song!

That's quite a nice version, I had never heard it before. I used to play Can't Get Enough back in the late 1990's. I always though Bad Company were a good solid band.

Bad Co.
Yeah, dig it a LOT.

I still cant get how MIck plays most of the crunchy rhythm on an esquire, (leads on LP, or so I read).
I cant get Tele type bridge pick up to sound thick and creamy ish.
Have not spent a ton of time though, just put it down and reach for a P90.

Hey is this Donald Trump?

Nah, sorry Mick no insult meant just kinda looks similar if you do a few shots and squint a little.
Seems most folks in England dont like Pres. Trump, not commenting on my position.

Heard some other good Mott and dig their version you posted, Robert.

Diggin Rock n Roll Queen too. I like one listener's comment.
"Yeah, I bet Keef thought he wrote this riff in his sleep :) Mott's song preceeded Bitch by a couple of years, but it's just a riff in the same key. The Stones built a completely different song on it. They're both good tunes even though Bitch was a bit overplayed and R&R Queen was quite under appreciated."

WE finished the drum and bass tracks today. I threw down a "scratch" guitar track, just to get the feel...I may do vocals over that and then complete the rest of the guitar parts later...
