IMG_8206.JPG I had an old one and it was hard to get. I remember how it made bad amps cool and poopy guitars fun. It disappeared one day, stolen or forgotten one day but it was gone. How don't matter any more because I got a new one. It came from a builder in Greece, the first one came from a weird place too. This Range Booster is the just as strong as the Range Master.
A fantastic box back on top of my amp again. My Strat sounds like old Rory's again. I paid $85.00 on EBay. It smells like olives, Greece and all. View attachment 14211

Thank you! Many of the greats of the past have them sitting on their amps.
I played the last two nights. It was crazy and I didn't turn it on. The singer took a pause and I hit the switch. It was like my guitar went from black and white to HD color. It makes a poopy boring guitar like my Epiphone BB King get off its a$$
 
My first one was made in England and this one was made in Greece. I read that this guy made them in London years ago. They said why and his history in the last years. I don't care so I skipped that but a peak inside shows it has all the good stuff. Same guts as the ones made a long time ago.

Did you just order it Plexi? They have about five on eBay up for bid. Mine was a starting bid of 89 or 85 bucks. Buy it now is $220 but no one is bidding. That is how I paid $89 bucks because and the shipping I don't know. I got a beat up box with a bunch of funny looking stamps on it.

Their stamps had me laughing for hours. The money for some of these places are like a newspaper.
You have to fould it and fould it back up and it never is right. The money is not worth much. Our one is the lowest of our foulding money. It a buck but their paper varies in value. The lowest is worth two olives and a few grapes. A bottle of olive oil is on most bills but that's slippery stuff and things are dark and hard to identify what is going on. IMG_8127.JPG IMG_8151.JPG IMG_8213.JPG They really don't have any real heroes so that guy from the bottle of Old Overholt Rye Whiskey or a twin brother in on some bills. Zorba the Greek is on all the change. The change doesn't work in parking meters or pay phones. Most of the the change is given to the Chinese tourists because they don't know what end is up. I was never there and I made most of this up. I got the rest from a guy that called a wrong number and we just started to shoot the shlt. I try to get to the bottom of things no matter what goofy bastard calls. That is how I found my sons God father. Yep a guy got the the number looking for a Mary Lou and we got going on trailer park names and how nice those double wide trailers really are with the right touch.
 
Yes I'm bidding on ebay $105.50 now well see. My guitar amp has the best distortion and preamp boost + two treble boost with the flip of a switch nothing on my peddle board can touch it.
If I do get outbid I have the parts to build one.

You probably do, the only odd thing for me is the Germanium transistors. The kids have been clearing out my parts racks.
 
Love treble boosters. One of my favorites still available is the Analogman Beano Boost. The Bogner La Grange has a really cool boost built into it as well.
