Randy Rhoads

Written in 1984 and preformed only during live performances, until finally recorded until 1998 on 4-track cassette, this song was a musical tribute to Randy Rhoads and a short 'musical answer' to his song 'Dee.' Played on a 1975 Hohner 400 N Acoustic and mic'd with a vintage Versadyne PE-57 microphone, a copy of this song on CD was presented to Rhoad's mother, at Randy's childhood home - 931 Amherst Drive, Burbank, California, on the 20th anniversary of his passing - March 19, 2002

Hmmmm....seems like an opportunity for growth, to me!

@Col Mustard can probably back me up on this, when you find "that" acoustic, you'll love it.

I've had a good one. It was an Airline 12 string strung with 6.

For me, its psychological I suppose. My musical pursuits as a kid were stifled, because my style of music (rock/metal) was not acceptable.

I could play acoustics all I wanted. I was also able to play bass as a support musician, but my own musical pursuits were hampered.

I just love my electrics so much and I love the tone and the freedom of how the lighter strings feel...

It's amazing to me...

I love the freedom of being able to produce full-bodied music without requiring a power outlet.

I play my electrics most often, but there is something wonderfully earthy and organic about acoustic guitar.

I can totally see that...I feel like I spent so much time in an acoustic prison, I'm not ready to go back!!!!!
