have not heard much of soulfy byt sepultura maaaaaaaannnnn i remember hearing it first time on cassette i thought it was some kind of curse chanting lol like to samon the demon or something on ratamata song...

Well they're from Brazil and their style could almost be called "tribal thrash" or something sorta like that. Max also plays in a band called Killer be Killed which also features Mastodon's bass player, Troy Sanders (who is just as cool and friendly a guy as possible in real life, met him a couple of times)

In '96, Max's stepson was killed in a car accident just before he left Sepultura to start Soulfly.

There was always infighting between band mates in Sepultura. If memory serves this led to his departure from the group. Not sure if amends were ever made.

That channel post lot of new thrash metal bands dont know where he/she finds them.
