Well that sucks too! Friggin 60 years old...pancreatic cancer..

I unfortunately never got to see any of Evel's jumps growing up other than old classic footage, but I did watch a good bit of Robbie's when Fox and TNT would air them such as the Caesar's Palace Jump, the Vegas Building to Building, Grand Canyon and the USS Intrepid.

He was really talented and though he was using a bike far better built for jumping ( a Honda CR500 vs his dad's Harley XR-750), he caught a lot of flack from the Evel fans despite actually pulling off a few of the jumps his dad didn't.

RIP Robbie!

Man , bummer. I had no idea he was sick or even that he was 60.

I was an Evel fanatic as a kid.
Had the lunch box. The action figure. The jump set with the bike that would rev up and you could pose him … I watched his son do the jump on the intrepid. I remember feeling all that nostalgia coming back from when I was a little kid.
Seeing a guy in a spangly outfit, race headlong into a dangerously daring jump is thrilling. People with that much grit, determination, and courage are extremely rare.
I am truly saddened. It feels like a little piece of my childhood went with him.

Ahh yes watching Evil jump at Caesars Palace, he sure had drive and had many accomplishments , then look at Robbie who took up where his Father left off, I believe Robbie set 20 world records. Truly sad to lose this young man..

I got to meet them both in Daytona Beach. Shook Evel's hand and got autographed pic for an old girlfriend at the time.
