Legendary Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath producer Martin Birch has died aged 71

Martin Birch, who produced nine Iron Maiden albums and records from the likes of Whitesnake, Deep Purple and Black Sabbath, has died at the age of 71.

I read in Bruce Dickenson's autobiography that Martin wouldn't put up with their poop, and made them work. Those nine Iron Maiden Albums, the Sabbath albums, and everything else he touched were amazing.

Iron Maiden went downhill once Steve Harris's ego got full control. Martin Birch made them big, and then Harris decided he knew better.
