So sad to hear that! Psalm 9 (well, at the time the album's title was just "Trouble") was one of my early vinyls and my first doom metal record. The DJ in the booth at the record store I used to go to recommended it, so I bought it. Loved it! If I recall correctly I got it together with Grim Reaper's "See You In Hell"... Rest In Power, Eric! The news of the singer's demise was confirmed on Sunday, August 22, by his son Luke Wagner. If reports are to be believed, Wagner was not vaccinated against Covid-19. "Hey all this is Luke Wagner his oldest son. Eric Wagner has passed away, " the statement said.
