Quietest, Box-Stock (Unmodded) EQ Pedal:

I had my ancient Boss GE-7 moddeed for quiet operation by Modest Mike with great results. However, for my solo boost EQ, i would rathr get one that is quiet from the factory and about the same size as a Boss pedal.

I use to have one of these for a while. Lots of crazy and cool features is designed into this EQ pedal. Even though I recently sold it, I remember it being quieter than my Maxon EQ pedal.

On the cheap as dirt level, the Danelectro gets good reviews. There's not much to it. It's just a simple eq.

My only complaint regarding the 10 band MXR is the large case and proprietary 18VDC power supply...

Thanks brother I am only going to be using them on the mid power setting but they are going to rock, will complete both rigs at 3 amps each, dsl40c’s and mosfet/ origin 50H’s and mosfet

I actually like the MXR 6 Band EQ, but it does not have a level control....

I have the MXR (M109) 6 band & it has served me well. That it doesn't have a level control is it's only deficiency & has me wanting a 10 band. I have two 18V supplies on my board. Cheers
