Great! YJM stuff is really hard. Listen to his articulation/picking on this live clip in Alcatrazz (1984). He freaked out a lot of people when he landed in LA.
His accuracy/bending/vibrato were one thing, but also the mastery of the Harmonic Minor scale set him apart.

And he was like 20 in that clip. Ive been a fan ever since hearing Hiroshima mon Amour for the first time.
I’m planning to keep working at it. My goal was to be able to play some of his stuff before the arthritis makes it impossible.
 
Death grip as well, I put .008’s on the blue water Dean and could not play it.
“D” chord was extra sharp. I can play it but it takes a little thought.

That's the thing I finally figured out as well..

It's got nothing to do with your hand. It's a "brain" thing. After a few weeks of consciously paying attention to the pressure you're applying, it becomes natural.
