PRS ----

I had a 1991 PRS Custom 24 10 top vintage sunburst great guitar at that time it was the most I had paid for a new guitar. I played that guitar on stage 3 nights per week for nine years.
it never broke a string or went out of tune. I only have one other guitar that has never broke a string and stays in tune a 1992 Parker Fly Deluxe.
After Gibson made PRS change the neck joint not interested in PRS now.

I guess PRS can revert to the problematic joint now - if they really want to. They have a knack of making stuff work well.

My McCarty 58 is nothing like a Les Paul. It doesn't play like one, and it doesn't sound like one. It just sounds like itself. It has the best neck of any guitar I own - miles better than my Les Paul.

Don't put Paul down for trying to do his best. If Gibson had paid as much attention to their product they might still be in business.

As long as the scale is 24.75 and the neck is 1" thick, I could adapt.

I have only three guitars - all have the .951" neck - all three stay in perfect tune - even with green keys.

Scales: 24.5, 24.594, and 25
Wide/fat thickness at the nut: SE models 27/32”, core around 28/32”, and the vintage profiled necks are 28.5/32”.
Measurements are published on their site with each model.

Fretboard radius is usually 10”
Santana’s are closer to 12”
Oh hell...read em yourself.

I have the sound sheet for a record player that I got from "Guitar Player" magazine back in the late 1980's with this song by Santana called "Blues For Salvador". This was my first introduction to PRS guitars. I thought it was the coolest looking guitar back then because of Carlos and his playing and tone he got from his instrument.
