I moved away from Gibson (and guitars with Gibson construction methodology) because of these reasons for live performances.

My 2019 Schecter Hellraiser C1FR has a Floyd 1000.

My 2015 Jackson San Dimas has a Floyd Rose Special, but I installed the Floyd Rose "FRTIBMMS" Titanium Studs. The only issue I have seen with the Special's is the post, which seem to be soft.

I hear ya. My Baja Tele is the most stable guitar I have ever owned. It never goes out of tune. I think I could throw it across the room (not gonna try it LOL) and it would still be in tune.

Seriously, I will take it off the wall in the morning, play the hell out of it all day, then put it back on it's hanger that night. The next morning I will grab it, and it's still in tune. And I bend strings a lot. I've never seen anything like it.

However, i have gone on a 5 hour road trip to austin with my jackson and only had to adjust the B string. That said though... i'm still looking into having a 1,000 series installed. I have to agree with the tuning stability of Jackson guitars.
I have an Indonesian made 2016 Pro Soloist SL2 (1,000 series FR stock), it's tuning is rock solid, even after wild wammy excursions.
The only change I've made since owning it (bought new) was to shim the bridge saddles, to better match the neck's compound radius. Cheers

I really, really tried tonight to understand what all the fuss is about with the Stratocaster volume knob. I frequently play with my pinky curled around it so, I really use it for "on the fly" adjustments.

I actually converted my Jackson back to a stock Fender control layout because I couldn't reach the knob.

My Jackson spent all day in my truck...rode 85 miles to rehearsal and was in tune when I pulled it out of the case.

I love this guitar. So reliable. All I gotta think about is playing!!!

Rub it in Robert, I rubbed my junk on that bad boy down in Lakeland Swamps outside of Ford's and it was tough not taking it back to Daytona with me.

How bout my first SG,,,,,,,,,, Jethro It has 3 knobs in a row, a switch down there, and if reading specs from old catalogs tells us right, it has a maple neck.

Pretty sure a guitar or 2 in that video may have a Floyd on it. Correct me if I am wrong.

Had a peavey amp, never a peavey guitar. I remember when I got my first electric. The Squier Bullet (still have it) and then I saw the peavey raptor for just a bit more, kicked myself a bit for not being more patient and getting that.
 
Back when I picked up my first strat, having previously been essentially a Gibson-shaped guitar player, I had my issues with the volume knob. Adrian remembers well that story.

But I tell you, nowadays it's this simple: If I play one of my strats, I don't need a clean boosting pedal or anything. If I'm playing my Rickenbacker, I use my EHX booster.

The strat is the perfect tool for the guitar player who wants to play more guitar and tap dance less... You can do pretty much everything you need with your right hand regarding volume and gain.
