There must be plenty of charitable groups to get musical instruments the hands of needy kids in the L.A. area. Girls Rock School might be turning into a big business by now (being in many cities, but I may be wrong), but there must be others as well. Maybe look into independent music or theatrical groups. They may have links to other groups that serve the local communities.

When our bass player passed away, we ended up donating his gear to Rockstars of Tomorrow in Norco, California....
 
Really tough to get a decent paint job on this prop. I've had a lot of problems with primer shrinkage and reaction between the yellow paint and the clear enamel. While it looks OK, its not my usual level of OCD quality.

I still need a fee parts and wanted to put a list out in case you guys have some stuff laying around:

1. 6mm x 1.0 tremolo arm

2. Tremolo bridge to body screws

3. Neck plate and screws

4. Angled jack cup

5. Wire harness and pots

6. Pair of single coil pickups

Let me stress again that I am not looking for pristine quality parts, just functional...

Here's the building (at the abandoned mining town of Atolia, California) where the videos will be shot. Two flaming guitar parts will be filmed for my cover of 'All Along The Watchtower' and my original song, 'Revolution. '

A drone will capture footage of me on the top of the yellow tower in the video for 'All Along The Watchtower. '
