beyond fouling a spark plug on occasion, I have never had a break down off road with a 2 stroke.
that does not count crash or wipeout damage, I mean engine no starts.

I did however, snap a cam chain on a 250 trials bike i was trail / moto riding.

I have had 2 let downs, broken master link, I got extremely luck on that occasion, another rider had a spare master link, and helped me out after only pushing for 30 minutes. reed valves went bad , the reed valves made the plug foul, and I had to push my bike 2 hours back to the truck, that KX never went trail riding again.
