Pretty funny

By copy pasting, we overwhelmed the old server. We up graded to a newer better server and overwhelmed that one as well. So Wav found us an even newer more powerful server. But it was quite an increase in cost. Members ponied up donations so we could afford the new server. So your complaints are aimed at a couple dozen of us that have donated to the cause. It’s not that big a request. It’s not that hard or time consuming. Even this 70 year old could figure out how to do it.
I understand it that servers can be overloaded when hosting photos uploaded by members using their cell phones to upload photos as opposed to hot linking their photos to TTR, but, and correct me if I am wrong, it should be a simple task for @WavMixer
to sort through all of the photos hosted by TTR by date and remove any photos that have been sitting there for more than a year that haven't been looked at.

It's a reasonable thought considering the fact that we all live in the "here and now" moment of time. I'm the anomaly here among newer members here because I actually read old threads.....but I digress.

It also gets old whenever I see the same old photos of members' guitars posted over and over again in various threads.

I'm still looking forward for instructions as to how to go about contributing and donating a few $$$ to TTR to keep it going.

I'm glad to see that you are willing to donate my time to shuffle through the server and delete old attachments. I think I will respectfully decline your offer of my services and shall keep the system as is. Thank you for your recomendation.recommendation.

Something you have not taken into account is that this server is database driven. Were I to delete the image without deleting the line of data in the database that pointed to said image, the server would throw up errors for the missing images leading me on another hunt to clean up the database. This is not how I choose to spend my free time.

I merely suggested that it might be possible to sort through all of the photos hosted by TTR on dates of submission that have clogged up your server.

It was nothing more than a suggestion and there's no need for you get your panties all tied up in knots.

I'll do me

You do you

Do G-Strings count as panties? If so,I do have a pair that got tied up in knots when I tried to use them as a sling shot.
