Maybe you could outline it here.Just a friendly reminder to all. Pictures are great, lots of pictures are really great! Please make sure to hot link the images posted in here. Hot linking doesn't store the pictures on our server and keeps our server load lower. When the server crashed in 2021, it was because we ran out of server space and it started a landslide that took the old server to it's knees. We do have a bigger, better server now, but we do have a limit as to our allotted storage. If we need to get more storage space, we will need to pay more money for the server. Although I love coming in to see the new funnies and I don't want to discourage posting them, I would greatly appreciate it if you hot link the images. If you're not sure how to do that, feel free send me a DM.
Cause that's how we roll!
If you find an image on another website and you wish to post it here, you can right click on the image and select "Open image in new tab". Then copy the URL and come into your TTR post, select the "Insert Image" tab, select the link icon for URL, paste the URL in and it will leave the image on their server. but display it here on TTR.Maybe you could outline it here.
I usually use plain old copy / paste for memes, etc. outside pics copied off the internet.
I use the "attach files" paperclip thingy for gear / my own pictures stored on PC, USB drive, etc.
I do this for GIFs as well (copied to PC from internet first).
I don't use any Photobucket type storage.
What should I be doing differently?

I use Imgur for my own pics. Free n easy.If you find an image on another website and you wish to post it here, you can right click on the image and select "Open image in new tab".
