I'm going to try some mandolin at open mic's. Constructive critiques are welcome. I want to make sure I don't make a fool of myself the first time I play a mandolin in public.
Thanks. It’s a 1964 made in Kalamazoo Epiphone.Good work, that's a nice mandolin.
Thanks. I haven’t learned the fret board yet. I just learned the chords to a few songs. I guess learning some scales is next.Seems like you’re a fairly comfortable strummer.
Like being by a camp fire, or on the porch on a summer night.
Going from a 12 string with a wide neck to a mandolin is hard. I usually play a 12 string for open mic’s. The narrow, skinny neck of the mandolin definitely takes some getting used to.dude thats awesome--- how do you hit one tiny string and not ALL of them with your left paw????
I couldnt do that ----
6 string guitar is getting harder as I spend more time on the 4 string bass and SPREAD my hand out----
I admire your digital dexterity !!!!!
