This is the last Tele-shaped thing that I owned, a G&L ASAT semi (minus f-hole). It was the point at which I realized I am just not a Tele guy - it ate the lunch of any Fender, etc. I have ever played but I still could never get with the feel of it. Damn thing was nice to look at though.

Was on worship team with a guy that had a G&L Tele. His had P90's. That thing was an animal.

Betcha they were the G&L MFD pickups - those things indeed are monsters.
Too bad I can't get along with Teles, cos they make some great sounds. And the Fender Custom Shop would do well to inspect a few G&L guitars and try to figure out how G&Ls regular line blows them away for half the price.

My well loved '06 MIM Fender Tele Deluxe replica.
This one sounds like no one else's guitar.
Maple neck, Fender Wide Range Humbuckers,
great tones, great neck, easy balance, belly cut, Electo-socket,
she's well made, finished in Poly, can't be damaged by anything
except bullet hits and/or hammer blows.
I named her Snow White.

She's running through my Orange Micro Terror which is running a ten inch speaker and
a twelve in those two home made cabs. I really like the sound of a ten and a twelve
together. I've got a boss blues driver and a hall of fame reverb on that pedal board.
Sometimes I'll run an EQ pedal too, but the Tele and the Orange work well with one
another so I don't really need to EQ it more.
