So appropriate today! My favorite version of this song. Alan Lanier (R.I.P.) is amazing on this track, and shows why this band was so bloody incredible because of everyone involved, not just one person. The classic line up is still my favorite. Al Bouchard's song writing and vocals were incomparable. Donald's playing just set them over the top.
This one is also quite good. Just before the first time I had seen them.
BUT they are the SOUND of New York Disco ---That's a beautiful song once you get rid
of those nerve grating screechy voices.
I truly hate the BeeGees.
I have hated them
(except some tracks from that dopey disco movie. Go figure...)
This I 100% agree with. Disco was bad enough, but the Bee Gees made it more dislikeable. Thank God they were born on the Ilse of Man, so us Aussies can throw off on "they're not from f'n here mate". CheersDammit Adrian, now you've gone and done it.
I hate the Bee Gees.
I have hated them since day one.
I have hated everything they have ever done.
(except some tracks from that dopey disco movie. Go figure...)
Some of them are dead and I don't care. I hate the dead ones too.
I hate them all with the burning intensity of a hundred thousand supernovas.
They are, always have been and always will be a festering boil on the skin of music.
A billion years from now the average overall quality of all the music ever composed and
performed throughout the entire universe will still be significantly lower than it would have been
had they never existed.
I hate them.

Never seen them live but playing that song live is always a gas. The beat is very infectious. You start playing it and all of a sudden it’s fifteen minutes later and you’re still playing it.OK.
This is a little bit out of left field
and may be odd coming from me,
but it is a good performance
and has a relentless groove.
