Positive Grid Spark

10,000 tones..........................uhm.............................................I dont have TIME to challenge that --

Ive seen the ads-- looks like yet ANOTHER modeler --- Ive owned many they are great fun for the $ for what they are--
Does the Fender Mustang "Marshall 67 sound EXACTLY like a plexi??? I have no Idea never played a plexi
does the VOX Valvetronics DUMBLE clone sound like a real Dumble ??? not a FRIGGIN CLUE aint played that one either
does the PEavey "Fender" clone--- or the ROLAND Mesa Clone (no) sound like the REAL THING --- who knows?!?!?! and or who has TIME & $ to go GET the real amps and compare them (I mean other than that crazy guy from Sweden --- ) -- so -- the SPARK --- looks like a Yamaha THR5 ish animal with EXTRA voicings -- "aps" (FYI the MARSHALL "CODE" modeling amp SUCKED -- at least the 2 I owned-- never worked right returned for incompatibility with my cell phone -- and or sucking) and some quirky marketing-----

get one and do a demo video Leeds!!! I would LOVE to get a real (not paid for) demo video

With a MODELING amp -- and one of them fancy MODELING geetars you have --- 20,000 tones SHOULD be achievable??? yes???

i still finding patches for my VTX Vox never mind 10,000 other patches.

I feel it to be a great amp for someone who has no amp or who maybe recording various sounds. Otherwise the setting up may take away from playing time.

i will be more interested in reviews from people who are not bribed to give their opinions

The basic complaint about modeling amps is the inability to sense different pick attacks.
With the light picking, heavy picking, the machine does not recognize the subtle differences and respond accordingly.
The second complaint was the slow response to fast picking. There is always a delay which might irritate the experienced player.
However I will say that compared to systems of yesteryear, the newer systems are impressive (to me). I kind of like it. (I'm not a virtuoso)
Although there are still bugs and limitations, I think it's working pretty good but also has a long way to go....before it reaches a level of performance that will cater to a virtuoso guitar player.
