Couldn't resist putting up another pic of my '18 Standard. I have the opportunity to buy a NOS vintage cut lefty black 5 ply pickguard for this. I like the wide bevel. I asked my wife for her advice and she said no. I usually do the opposite of what she says as she is usually wrong. Waste of an art major. Should I change it?

That looks awesome! Why is it backwards though? :P

First SGish was a 96 Epiphone G400 Cherry with the set neck. Think it was $350 if i remember right. Good guitar, still own it but never play it ( pickups sucked originally and so i had them changed to 498T/490Rs). Few months later my uncle had decided he didnt like the 96 Gibson SG standard heritage cherry he had bought ( paid $850 for it) so i played the poor pitiful nephew card and snatched it for $700 when i was 13 ( had money saved from summer jobs and working with my dad helping out on rewiring houses). Still own it today and its been a loyal beast for over 25 years now

Once upon a time in a forum far, far away, I found an Epiphone '62 reissue that I told Adrian about and I wish I would have kept that one. Now in my stable resdide my original highly modified G400, My custom built SG style guitar and a Gibson SGJ. These are my six horn collection.
