Popsicle Sticks

Those are awesome! I really love seeing crafty ideas and unique artwork. I never even considered the artistic applications of popsicle sticks.

As the saying goes... How do you carve a face? Take away all the stone that doesn't look like a face!

No I wouldn't recommend it ;-)
As soon as I saw it was my left thumb I figured somehow I'd be able to continue with my guitar journey.
I got lucky and the outcome isn't too bad, some loss of sensation, some scars but good mobility.
 
I've been lucky so far but I have made it a habit to take my time, concentrate on what I am doing and never look away even for a spit second while the machines are running. We don't heal like we used too....:(

The first half of my working life I was on tools in heavy industry, almost all of those I worked with lost a finger or two, part of the job back then. Imagine how p*ssed off I was that day thinking I'd lost a thumb after I'd retired :-(
Take care children !!!
 
And to think Tony Iommi of Black Sabbath lost 2 tips of his fingers in a machining accident and was still able to play guitar after and become a rock legend.
