I have one hundred Great British pounds credit from a certain German shop, and I'm ready to spend it... I don't really wanna spend much, but these two took my eye:

I'm leaning towards the tele, and will likely push the purchase button in the next hour or so...



What would you advise, and why???

Anyways, I tried to place my order, but a new thing is that Fender don't allow them to sell to Korea... Bastards... The same guitar is $200 more expensive (after deliver costs) in Korea. :(

Thus, looking at this instead, but it's a lot more money and import tax of 20% or 30% will be added...

I don't like those cutouts in any guitar personally. But its up to you mate. You know what you like and that's all that matters. I think you should head over to Sejong Music and pic up a nice ;)

We all have different experiences - there's no rights and wrongs, per se; if it works for you then it's right. &, that's a nice looking junior, for sure.
 
Just for the halibut... Between that Fender Strat & that Fender Tele, I would pick the Tele. Why? Cuz I likes F-holes :p

G&L's: I love the USA-made G&L's. I own an ASAT Bluesboy. I've also seen up close some of the G&L Tribute series (made in Indonesia) guitars, and they definitely look like a lot of quality for what you pay for. Personally, I would go with the G&L over the other two that you posted.
 
Well, I would have gone for the Tele, but Thomann won't now send Fenders to Korea, and their stock of guitars generally is shockingly bad. So, as is the nature of my threads, I ordered up one of these heavy metal wonders:

BTW, the SG is sounding really good through the Cornell amp nowadays (especially when my friends are playing it rather than me...)

I've been about for a while, I've seen and owned some real dogs in my time, all the guitars today are great by comparison compared to what we had in the 1970s.
 
A few years ago I took from lessons from a teacher who gigged with an ASAT Bluesboy. It was a great sounding guitar but I never had a chance to play it so I can't tell you anything about the feel.

I had a little Guild a couple of years ago which was really nice, but I sold it to a friend... stupidly... It's nice to have a little "player" around to pick up and strum when you fancy while not worrying too much about bashing it (a bit like the wife :) ).

They do look lovely. And, many folks highly rate G&Ls, so I'm sure it'd be a nice guitar.

A friend of mine bought one of their mandolins before Christmas, but because of the lockdown I haven't been able to go and beat the crap out of assess it yet, he's in love of course. :)

It's always good to thrash the living daylights out of them when you can. :)

I had one of these a while back (it was crap - ok, maybe not "crap", but I didn't like it):

I didn't like the fugly tele either although the strap was nice... The little amp was decent, btw.

I also had one of these:

Sounded good and played well too; it was a keeper really - Guild M120. If the new thing is in that ballpark, I'll be happy.

I like the size and volume of these guitars for playing around at home.

I gave my acoustics away, my son has one and my grandson had the other when he went to university. I hadn't used them since I stopped gigging.
