No Peavey, Dean, BC Rich, Ernie Ball, Schecter

Oh yeah, and I forgot Takamine, Ovation, Washburn or even Seagull since Anna chose to include Martin and Taylor in there.

Now if I had unlimited money I would have to choose multiple guitar brands and styles so a favorite would likely be a hard decision.

If I had unlimited money I would just BUY Gibson and roll around naked in the inventory all day ---- oops did I say that out loud?

I do have some individual specimens in the Jackson, Ibanez, Epiphone, and Yamaha brands.
I am fond of these specific guitars, with no specific loyalty to the brand itself in general.

The one I am holding at any given moment is my favorite, which may include lower end or older used acquisitions, none of them of Gibson level breeding.

Lately it is the AXL LP build I did, with some parts purchased from Musiclily, namely the TOM style bridge and tail piece.

Sorry to drone on, but it does have some Musiclily blood in its veins.
I would buy those parts again.

From the limited choice ... Fender, but quickly thinking on the run, Fender come 3rd.
My 1st & 2nd probably are Gretsch & Rickenbacker.

No particular favourite brand, I've just had a few guitars I like best which happen to be Gibson SGs.

Seeing as all I now own are Gibsons...well.

List also missing Heritage.

Not particularly loyal to any brand. If I had to pick one it would probably be Larrivee for acoustics and Gibson for electrics.

Unanswerable question for me.

I have no blanket favorite. I have guitars which I prefer for different things.

Even if I do feel I have a “favorite” right now, it may change by next month!

I like many brands. But, Gibson is my favorite brand. Not because I own a few of them, but because Gibson has a long history of contribution to the musical world. Viva Gibson...

Fender for me...why? Because I can build my own, swap parts, change up just about anything until I have just what I like!

There are good ones and bad ones from 45.00 ebay scores (new ---from CHina) to vintage stuff--- to current models at every price point.......barn finds to bargain boutique

AND --- We have a TALENTED pool of skilled craftsmen and electricians on this forum that can just about whip/beat/muscle/stroke any miscreant bit of gear into submission---er I mean playability! lol
