Poll: black or cream?

My cunning plan has developed into an even more cunning plan...

The Angus Young pickup is da bollix - playing classic rock and punky powerchords (which I'm rather fond of) is just perfection. I also want a very sweet, very detailed, very sensitive P90 in the neck (I already have a Bare Knuckle Nantucket) - and it can be done with these dog ear conversions which cover the woodwork of the P90 enlargement width and humbucker larger height.

My black SG Future Tribute is gonna end up like a Gibson futura, but better!

Sooooo, here's the question:

Or Cream:




I got the ruler out, and this will fit absolutely perfectly on the 24 fret future - that 6mm at the top will fit the gap perfectly.

Not particularly cheap for a bit of plastic, and I might see if my local luthier has a better/cheaper idea...

Black, for sure. The black one looks good, the cream one looks, well, not good.

Yeah, I was hoping the cream PU cover might match the beautiful cream switchtip, but the black does look better to my eyes.

Also, the future tribute truss rod covers are really cheap nasty looking bits of plastic, so I went all nationalistic and picked up a TRC from Hell Guitars; I think they do some really nice stuff and the service is good - maybe I'll do another thread to give them a bit of free visibility...

Sold that Gibson... sorry. But, I did buy a black surround and that might be used to put a P90 into the Cort Manson tele thingy.
