pinball

Solar Fire was awesome with the Magnasave was a hoot.

Nothing as satisfying nor as memorable as when you gradually ramp 'er up, lights flashing, buzzers 'n bells dinging then finally making the knocker go "POP!" as you hit the special. OK, well there's a couple of other things now thinking about it.

Don't remember the exact machine as it was well over 50 years ago. But there were a few of us idiot guys playing pinball one day. One of the kids missed hitting the ball or it drained down the side, but he got ticked off to the point he picked up the flipper end of the machine and dropped it. Yes... he tilted.... yes, we were asked to leave. Good times!

I played Tales of the Arabian Nights at Corner Pocket again tonight. Great, epic game... I did terrible. It made me so mad I cursed the god that made me. Very challenging, But it does have good game flow and wonderfully unexpected pinball tragectories.

My schedule usually limits me to daytime play, which is fine, but usually there are not that many people in the bars that have the machines to get any competitive games going. That would be nice. These things go for over ten grand! I'm happy to have access to one. I used to own a few, sequentially, but that was back when I could get one for about $1,000,
