I also still have my first amp. Bought it when I was 15. 1965 Ampeg Gemini II. Complete with an accordion input. The treble boost, echo, and reverb are all great features. If only it would break up a bit. It's the cleanest amp I own. Bought it off of my guitar teacher at the time. No wonder he liked clean amps, he was a jazz guy. First person I ever saw use a 7 string guitar. He modified an old Harmony Archtop. It had a B string for the lowest.

Nice my first amp went up in flames My second Ampeg 2 x 12 combo stolen with my first Les Paul Custom
I got the Les Paul back years later 1985 I played it for the first time a few days ago it's the only LPC I have ever seen with 2 P90's
1972 I worked 16 hours a day all summer for the amp and guitar

Remember " WWJ do"?
What would Jimmy Page do in the studio?
He was always so creative musically and on the production side.
I wonder if he still uses old school hardware or cab Sims?

It's still possible to get good recorded tone with analog equipment.

The issue is that it takes so much longer to setup and the juice just ain't worth the squeeze.
