Now that I have my Jimy Page 21 Tone Wire Harness, I need to get 4 conductor pickups.

Here's my current setup:
  • Epiphone HOTH8B...................(Ceramic8).........................13.14 to 14.4kΩ
  • Epiphone HB6N.........................(Alnico5)...............................8.12 to 8.60kΩ
No complaints on Tone and very smart to my 498T/496R combo in my 2016 Gibson Les Paul 50's Tribute.

I'm considering DiMarzio at present, but might be open to other suggestions.

Thanks...

You might check out Planet Tone Pickups. They are great pickups for a decent price and made to order in the USA. I have talked to the owner/ winder and he's a great guy, customer service is top notch. I highly recommend. I have the Full Throttle set and love them.

Check out the bridge pickup at 11:00..

How would you like a slightly used Seymour Duncan TB-5 Trembucker? These are spaced for Fender and Floyd Rose bridges. Or, is this for your Les Paul?

Seymour Duncan Humbucker Pickup Set: JB SH-4 & 59 SH-1n BLACK is also looking really good from a spec standpoint...

Ahhh…well the pole to string alignment would be a bit off and may not fit your pickup ring.

So, just go on with your bad self!

This threw me a curve. TBTH. I didn't want to go pickup shopping, but then I thought about all the new technology and maybe I could get something made with 43AWG (splitting the difference between 42 & 44), tighter bottom end and yet still sound defined when played clean....

The rabbit hole is deep....

I have a JB SH-4. I put it in my Jackson. Personally, I felt it was a little too bright in that guitar. Switching to 250k ohm pots helps. In fact, I read someplace that Seymour Duncan designed both the JB and the Jazz pickups to use 250 k ohm pots. I don’t know how true that is, but it’s something to consider.

A JB may work better in a Les Paul, though, given its shorter scale length.

Let me know if you want my SH-4. Just keep in mind, since it was previously installed in my Jackson, the wires have been cut for that install. It’s possible you may have to splice some wire in to reach your controls.

Anyway, let me know…
