Pickup Question - Hive mind

This weekend I want to load up my new Bare Knuckles but started to doubt which guitar I wanted to throw them into.

So, should they go into the Dean Mustaine V, or the Solar?

Decisions, decisions.

I picked the Solar strictly for aesthetic reasons.

My follow up questions would be -
What don't you like about the existing pups in each of the guitars?
Will the BK's fix that?
Would what you take out work better in the other axe?

I was never a fan of invaders. I tried them and they sounded like they lacked articulation. They were really “in your face”

Not much actually. They sound pretty darn tootin' good. One of those wants in the new BK pickups. I've been wanting to try a set of Silos for a long time now.

Curious on the Voodoo Custom guy and where he skipped off to. He packed up his things and went completely dark.

Nice! I barely skated these pickups past the goalie. No way I can sneak a new guitar past that.

Sadly this clip uses neck pickup but I find Invaders ok with the TSL lead channel, no boost up front. I find it fairly articulate, more so with the bridge pickup.

Ya fun stuff but it does show some articulation and definition with the Invaders, to me.

We went as far as setting up my own money account where it doesn't affect our budgets and whatnot just so I could buy random poop without messing up the family books. I use the account mostly when I sell equipment, that money goes to my play account. Even still, she gets the ol' eye-roll going when I bring something new home.

Jammed a little more with the Solar last night and I think I'm going to keep those Voodoos in place. I'm more inclined to swap out the Dean V pickups now.
