I kind of do too...I mean, on the one hand, its totally out of place, and yet cool too...

I kinda like the green/gold because that was the color scheme on one of my 1969 Dodge Chargers...and it inspired the color scheme on my 1959 Sears Silvertone...

I think I'm going to start with the 4 ply red pearl/white/black.white and see how it looks. All black just looks so plain to my eye. I want this thing to stand out....

Oh yes...My wife is a Latina. I can play the Hotel California solo and she won't even nod her head. But if she sees a Gold Escalade, she almost breaks her neck to look at it...
