Pick Up Suggestions

I dont know about pickups for doom, but I will add some fitment experience here.

When I swapped the stock Epi pickups from my 2014 , 15? G400 to Gibson 490R/T, the legs of the 490R / neck were longer and did not fit deeply enough into the cavity. A little white knuckler routering set things right.

I'll keep that in mind.
Before I swap out the 700T / 650R. I'll do a comparison video. Maybe, between the Epi, my Fender (Pearly Gates), and my Jackson (JB). Who knows, maybe this thread is all for naught. I might just like the 700T/650R combo.
Maybe I could throw the 61T burstbucker, EMG81, and TB5 in the mix too. Lets see how ambitious I get with the comparison.
First I need to rip the cruddy filthy old strings off this thing and get something on there that wont require a tetanus shot.
