Thanks Jethro!. That’s an old hummingbird photo I took 15 years ago on July 30, 2010.

Info:
Canon EOS Rebel XS
Speed: 1/250 sec
Aperture: 5.6
ISO: 1600

Hmmmm? That's all the 'exif' data I can find. No info on the lens.

Same bird, different pose.

Pretty awesome.
I took one many years back with my at the time big Olympus camera. Not really around hummingbirds often but caught him at our cabin. Used the long 70 - 300 lens but was close enough to use fill flash.
Never caught one flying.

Photography: My 2nd favorite hobby!
I have (2) Rebel XS cameras and a Rebel X2Ti in my bag. Older cameras, they are, but they still work great! I also have a suitcase filled with Canon lenses.

Well, you know how it goes with hobbies, right? If I wasn't buying a new guitar, I was buying a new lense.

Most of the images now are with the full frame Sony A7 IV or new A7 CR. I initially went to Olympus digital which is still very good especially for longer lens shots as it is a 4/3 or half frame sensor.

I also have some excellent compacts and a Leica M10 digital rangefinder with 4 lenses.

Sony lenses now are a 24-70 f2.8, 85mm f1.4, 70-200 f2.8, a 2X and the new 50 - 150 f2.0, a spectacular lens.
