Phones , love them or hate them ?

I have an AT&T prepay account. I use a Motorola phone that cost me less than $100. I use it as a phone and to text and that's it. I never go on line on my phone and I only take a pic to text it to someone. I'm not about to pay for an expensive smart phone, not this kid. lol. 
I use my phone to text,call,record videos, and to browse the forums I belong to, take pics, and type out this post for the thread I am browsing.
And I use it for navigation.

I use my phone the bare minimum. I don't peruse the internet and hate to type anything so I rarely email, etc.
I laugh at the old movies that depicted the future of people calling each other on a large screen and talking face to face, ala' Facetime. Now days, if someone tries to Facetime or video chat, or phonecall, the first inclination is "oh come on! Just text me *sshole!"
