People Always Ask: What Would You Buy if You Won the Lottery?

A home, cabin retreat, recording studio, ranch in Alasaka out in the middle of no where on the edge of a lake with only pontoon plane access. Do the same general thing in Australia, Ireland, and a couple other places. Create a new amplifier company.

Also, I'd invest a lot of money in an oversea's beer company ;)
Not kidding, I would if I were welcomed too...

Of course, all the norms, at least for me - child cancer and hospitals and similar...

Can't forget my climate controlled warehouse for all the music equipment I will be buying, playing with, and then probably be giving away to those who can't afford them...

Invest a good portion of it so hopefully there'll be enough interest to live from...

And...

Oh, eESGe needs a van painted up like a Ferengi trade ship ;)

What would I buy?

I’d buy my wife her dream home, donate some of it, and put the rest away in some type of investment.

I’m not the kind to splurge.

I certainly wouldn’t blow it on some mid-life crisis car.

I'm curious why people call a nice expensive car a Mid Life Crisis Car". My point being some of us have "Always" wanted a certain car, but could not afford it when we were young.
When I got my Corvette at age 48 that's all I heard. But it wasn't a mid life crisis. It was a time where I could afford it and I didn't have kids I needed to haul around so it was
a more practical time...

Totally agree with this. I always wanted a Porsche, couldn't afford one until I was 41, so that's when I bought it. And the funny thing is I don't have it any more - I've been driving a Subaru wagon for the last three years, haha!
