If you have 20 minutes to spare, this is a cool story telling video. It's not all in the car. They go back to many places where he grew up. I like the story about him and John writing one of their early hits at his parents house. After they practice it, they go play it for his dad in the next room (also a musician). He says:

I don’t know why but that brought a tear to my eye. The 60’s and 70’s were very good for me. I was a hippy living in dreamland. Life is still very good but not as free and easy as it was back then. That music brought it all back to me.
