Peavy 112

Love mine
bandit 112.PNG

the amps behind the Peavey (except the Hartke and the lil sexy) are all gone
\both the strats are gone too ............ the Bandit is STILL HERE....

Would truly be my "desert Island amp "

BUILT LIKE A TANK
does amazing cleans -- mutiple levels of distortion has built in real spring reverb ...... doesnt NEED pedals or any hyperbole ..... just kicks A$$ for stupid little $

I "had" one via sorta claiming it from my dad for years lol it was a 1995 Silverstripe Bandit Transtube and it had the 112 Extension cab, so you had the full 100w vs the standard 80w. Was an INCREDIBLE amplifier and could get a plethora of great sounds. @froman5150 even used it for a while in the early garageband days. Held its own against a 50w Marshall Halfstack believe it or not

Sad what happened to Peavey. They made rock solid made in USA gear for fair prices.
When I was a kid Peavey was everywhere in the 1970s.
I bought a PV when I was in high school.
I was the service center but it paid almost nothing I think like $7.00 for a warrantee repair on 1 amp.
Peavey held out for as long as possible before moving production to China.
They were basically forced by market pressure to either move or die.

Bad management is what got them to where they are now.
