Just a quick post to let you guys know that I started a group for owners of the Peavey JSX and XXX II on Facebook. If you are on there and go looking you will find it.

We just got our first two spammers trying to join today so we must be big enough now to attract attention. They definitely didn't know the answer to the question 'What is the difference between a JSX and a XXX II?' and they had both been on Facebook for about a week.

Anyone here know the answer?
 
well for starters one is a Joe Sachmo sig. head
and the other won guitar world mags PLATINUM AWARD

but I will stop there as I could go on for DAYS
 
They are the same head except for the aesthetics. After Joe left they built up the remaining JSX circuit boards in a redesigned chassis. The head and footswitch also had 'Ultra' and 'Crunch' changed to 'Lead' and 'Rhythm' in line with the nomenclature on the 3120 (and 6505 series), thus ending the Ultra name.

Oh and the XXX II added the word 'ON' to each Fat switch so that if your ears don't work to well you'd know whether your sound was supposed to be fatter.
