The Fender XII and Red Les Paul were actually my favorites of his and two of the least talked about ones. The Red Les Paul Deluxe had a B Bender rig added that was a cool feature

A strange platform for that system really as its to replicate a lap steel sound, which would make sense on a Tele but not a fat Les Paul. But, to his credit it worked!

Stranger still, is B and G Bender rigs on the same guitar and to be honest, ive never seen one in person but they do exist apparently.

If that didnt require basically chopping out a good 2lbs worth of wood, it would be cool lol i remember seeing those in Guitar World and Page using one in a Gold Top Deluxe on a concert film.
