Thats a pickup i have neither owned nor played with personally! But i do love them and would love to have a guitar with them stock. They have a great middle ground sound

You really should try one. It's not just the sound, the feel and the dynamics are muy bueno.

Ive got an old epiphone G400 that ive thought about trying p90 sized pickups in it but they wouldnt be true p90s, rather humbucker sized p90s so theres a bit of difference there. Would really love to get a guitar with them in but my wife would neuter me lol

Everyone needs at least one P90 guitar, they're like nothing else. Here's mine currently, but it's getting a new body with a TOM and stopbar soon.

The P90 has gone through many refinements since it was first used for lap steel guitars...but the lap steel was the predecessor to a solid body modern guitar.
I used to have one from the 1930s, with a cave-dweller P90. It looked almost the same as a LP pickup.

I only have three P90 guitars all have one piece body's
First one 1971 Les Paul Custom.
Second 1972 Fender neck 1956 Gibson P90's custom made Ash body.
Third 2001 Les Paul Junior.

I have to rate Iommi's as number 4 because despite me being ambidextrous, I can't play it, it is backerds. SG LOU even gets a mention in the Monkey clip.
