In Kevin's honor we have provided this new section, Fallen Stars. Many of us have become close friends, and sadly to say, there have been members of this forum that have moved on to that great gig in the sky. Here's to you Kevin!

While we rarely "see" each other, we speak almost every day, very diferent than those I have known face to face as friends.

The friends here never ask, but are always willing to help, unlike most face to face friends. They always appreciate what is done for them, large or small, in part I think because they have this feeling that the person gave without even having "met" them.

Oddly, despite the above, when a friend here leaves us, I am always left with a saddness that I never got a chance to "meet" them. And there is no one to hug who understands that you lost a real friend.

So many thoughts, so many feelings, so little time.

I feel the same way, which is why when I travel now I am going to make the effort to visit TTR peeps if they are near by. I always feel a honor when I get to meet you people face t face.
I had hope of meeting Kevin on our next trip To Pittsburgh.

Today, in honour of our friend Kevin, I re-tracked the solo to 'Fantasy' on my Gibson Les Paul, which wears the Gibson Green Keys that Kevin sent to me in July of 2018. I played full Kevin Paul - absolutely Flat-Out - on this double-tracked solo:

I just saw this thread this morning. This is very sad news. RIP Kevin Paul.
Robert I think that recording a tribute on a guitar featuring the tuners Kevin gifted you is a wonderful sentiment, definitely do it. I'm sure Kevin would be touched.
