Our bit of the globe is getting very warm

We are recovering from 2 straight weeks of heavy rains. Temps have been dropping below freezing at night, so the rain turns to green pea sized hail

I'm starting to feel like a waterlogged duck here in Idaho but sure beats freezing cold and snow. Temps are not terrible.

We are havei around 17° which is fairly warm, but something that may happen late in February. There has been, however, not enough rain to fill the natural reservoirs. So we can only hope that the summer will not be quite as dry as the last one.

At the same time my friends' house in Crete has been battered all winter. Bridges are down and the place has been declared a disaster area. As soon as it's possible I will go out there with them loaded down with tools. There will be a lot of fixing to do, and not just for them. They have some very old neighbours who are going to need help.

Good on you Don, if one has the time and ability it's good to help a neighbour.
When one travels to another country to help a friend and their neighbours that's BIG!!!
