I had a L-5 for a while (2x12 combo)…they take pedals really well (imo). This vintage set of Lab Series L7 amps were passed along to me from my bandmate, before he passed away. They are quite clean sounding.
One has a brown front panel, the other a black one. otherwise the same.
I also use a digitech rp355 floor pedal that he used. This just stays in the garage for good temp days.

Thanks amigo!Mr. Galaxie, what is that brown mini stack? It reminds me of our friend fitz. That room looks like a place I would like to go, kinda what I envisioned heaven would look like just inside the gates.
Well, good men deserve good friends. Thanks amigo!
That amp is a DeArmond R5 copy. A buddy of mine built the amp and another buddy built the cabs. I wrapped the tweed.
I am lucky to have good friends.
That is a beautiful collection of tone machines, outstanding.I started using two amps after my friend Dave Haskell would use my 1965 Fender twin reverb with a 1983 Fender Super Champ
Dave grew up with Robin Ford and invented fusion guitar in 1971 so I'm told
So since 1984 I have gigged with two amps the first time I got close to Jimmi Hendrix sound was with 3 Trainwreck Express amps
not Marshall's later on Paul Allen let me open up Hendrix's Marshall's they were modified same with the EVH 1968 Super Lead 100
33K mid shift resistor and 50K treble pot most Super Lead 100 amps use a 56K and a 25K treble pot Super Bass 47K
next Dumble used a 250K 2-35 CTS Fender treble pot custom made for Fender that's why most clones don't sound correct
I switched to combo amps in 2010 due to transport

From what I was told, the DeArmond is almost identical to the 5F2 tweed Princeton. Mine has a switch to go between the two versions..Well, good men deserve good friends.
I will have to do some research on that one, new to me.
If you're playing them in stereo, they are brothers. Are these brothers?
These guys are... minor acquaintances. If you're playing them in stereo, they are brothers.
Just sitting in the same room together, they might as well be pen-pals.![]()
I’ll need to know a little more about your family picnics, how many girls would disappear right after lunch, and was their family one kid larger every year? Are these brothers? Of sorts? Or inbred cousins?
Jubilee mini head to go with my original 87 Jubilee 2558 combo.

Awesome guitars! You have far too much good stuff, every time you answer a question it leaves 3-4 more! Like what year is that LP, what is that (Peavey?) amp behind it, and what lives in that sweet tweed guitar case? 66….. your killing me….
Just to be up to date. the cherry Explorer was sold as well as the LP.
The red amp was on loan from Terry, I cant think of his user name at the moment.
The 2204 and 1959 RI have also been sold.
