Pleased to have joined. I have 2 Les Pauls and a Eastman acoustic. E10 s/vv.
I have just purchased a VOX Valvetronix VT20 amp. Do you know where I can buy a cable that fits into the amps small D socket and the other end goes into my new iPod.

Welcome and congrats I too own the VT20 -- AWESOMER amp -- if you get a chance run it into a 12" cabinet/ speaker -- SOUNDS HUGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I snagged one of the cables online for my computer its a usb to mini usb on the amp face.
The interface for computer/phone to the amp I believe only work through the mini usb port (for all the online software)
Not sure how that works with an apple contraption -- perhaps others here might be of assistance??

The cable you have on the amp is a USB Mini-B to a USB 2.0/3.0 right? Theres an adapter here

note under User programs is a mini usb connection (this accecsses the online TONEROOM (they stole that Ray can we sue?!?!?!?!) software-----opening up a Bazillion squared tones !!!!

IF he is wishing to only "aux in" his iPhone-ification-- then the "aux in" under the power button over by the glowing tube of YUMMIENESSS is the ticket Cricket

Have I mentioned these amps are stupid good fun for the $$$ and IF YOUR RUN IT THROUGH A PEAVEY 12" Sheffield speaker --- it CHUGS THE poop OTTA THE ROOM!!!

Of course -- if you run a Danelectro HONEYTONE through a 12" Peaveys speaker it sounds GOOD-- through a BOSE SOUND DOCK -- its sounds FOOGIN KILLER!!!!!!!

Ive always been a celestion guy but Sheffields are really nice as well! My old man had a Peavey Bandit 112 with the 112 Extension Cab that had them in it. It pushed a lot of air!
