Many of you know , I am an Orange fan. But I have said several times about how great my 35RT Crush is. I will never sell this amp!! I tried many Brands out before I purchased this amp. I will let this article speak for itself. Also has rave customer reviews..

There are so many cool amps being made today. Different flavors, for different players! All tube, or hybrid, or solid state, there are plenty good ones. Simple or complicated, there’s something for everyone. But it is up to the player to make any of these amps sound good… or sound bad! Enjoy that Orange, or whatever helps your Mojo flow… :dood:

I was christened with a Marshall and I'll die with a Marshall lol but, that doesn't mean I don't like a lot of other amps and would certainly be happy to own a wide array of different ones if the right one came thru my hands.

Biggest single regret ever was letting a 1995 Peavey 5150 head go for peanuts into the hands of a moron I was "friends " with, who hocked it; despite the condition being if he didn't enjoy it, he would sell it back at the same paltry price he gave for it. Pretty much ended our "friendship" then.

But there are multitudes of Fenders, Mesa Boogies, HiWatts, Voxes, Orange/MatAmps, Sunns, Hughes and Kettners, Bogners, Friedmans, ENGLs and Diezels that I'd love to get near.

If I were more serious about this craft, I would drag one of my guitars to a shop. Most likely Chicago Music Exchange since their supply of amps is amazing. They also have semi-soundproof rooms you can step into and try out a guitar or amp….. or both. Since I’m just not that serious, I’ll be sticking with my 50 year old Traynor and my wife’s 50 year old Fender Vibro Champ.

Honestly, that's been sorta my stance: I know where I stand, I know where I'm at and so going bananas buying up a ton of gear is a waste upon me and robbing someone else more deserving lol there's a lot I COULD buy nowadays compared to years past but it doesn't make much sense now.

At this point in my life with the ties that bind, it's a hobby at best and nothing more. Would I love to have had the time in the years past tjo actually study and perfect things? Well sure, but that wasn't gonna buy me a house, a car, pay for 2 kids and keep me out of debt. Plus, you sorta figure out what you are really good at in life early on and I knew that I was going to be limited in where I'd go with playing guitar a long time ago. So now, I just sit down, bang out something angrily when I get a few moments and carry on about the day lol

I had a 70's SG I sold to a guy who pawned it.
I bought it back from the pawn shop only to let it slip through my hands again.
The SG is my other favorite guitar. I need one . Anyway sidebar, carry on.
