Well it seems that I can't seen to go anywhere lately without falling into a good deal on a guitar I want.
You may remember that I recently picked up a Godin Session in vintage burst. Then a Godin Empire P90 in white.
I just ran across a 1993 Gibson SG Standard in vintage cherry and I just couldn't walk away. I tried. I really tried. I even pretended that it was all a dream. No luck.
So I am the proud owner of an SG Standard in extremely good condition for it's age.
I don't have a lot of pics right now as I have taken it in to get the frets polished but here is what I do have:

Pickups are 490R and 498T according to my research. Pots show 1993 date code if I am not mistaken.

I agree Ivan. Cherry is "THE" colour for an SG IMHO. Just like Ferrari's have to be red, British sports cars have to be British Racing Green and oranges have to be....uhm…...orange.
