One of the best 60s bands from San Francisco.

Love CCR!!
Saw Fogerty a few years back, great show.
Played the songs great and had most of his vocal chops.
He has said he was greatly influenced by Little Richard; it sure shows.
 
I really like their very early stuff. They did a lot of covers that were as good if not better than the originals. This was one of the first guitar licks I learned. Just tried to play it and I had to learn it all over again :)

All 3 of the guys are former coworkers (I’m retired). They are all accomplished musicians with me being the hack rhythm guitar player. We got together to play at this company BBQ lunch event in the parking lot. Played in front of about 300 coworkers.
Dave is the singer and lead guitar player and plays bass. He is a really good guitar player and singer, is in multiple bands and plays out quite often. Tim, the drummer, has been playing for about 40 years. Bob, the bass player, also plays a good acoustic guitar and sings. He also plays solo at small venues quite often too.

It was a fun day, we did about 20 songs.
