Dude that is sooooo friggin cool, or at least to me DAMN.
I will make it fast. Johnny was playing at the small Sheridan movie theater in Pittsburgh. Not the largest crowd but a great concert. I wondered back stage after and the band had beer and other stuff. Rick Derringer was playing with Winter then. I got to talk to them. I was only in America a few months and my accent was thick and I was very hard to understand just like now. Johnny got my phone number and said he would keep in touch. I saw them after that two more times and I got a back stage pass the second time. Then some years later I got the invitation to the Crossroads thing.
I think she is great! I am keeping my eyes on the pickup switch. She hits it just fine.

It's a Les Paul. The only guitar that has the pickup selector in the right place.
She is a very good player. I like how her neck goes down so fast. Oppy I mean she goes down fast. Wrong, she slides in great.If I had fingers that long I could play one of Robsguitars with the fat neck.
And it always felt so foreign to me....

Really? That's interesting.
I felt that way when I migrated from Strat shaped objects in to my Les Paulish phase.
It was an alien feel, but an excellent sound..I stuck with it...then suddenly it didn’t feel so alien to me.
