One guitar just isn’t enough......

So. Was going to get out the rockin’ machine to do a little Neil Young. Broke the darn high E string tuning the G400. So..... bummer deal. Had to play this one instead. View attachment 35483
Junk. Put it out with the garbage by the curb. I'll be by to get it later today. In case I wasn't clear, I meant that Hagstrom junker clunker. IBLIVE

Thing I like most about having multiple guitars is that every one plays and sounds different, even when they are the same make and model. They all inspire me differently and bring out different nuances in my playing. Some I prefer for higher gain rock stuff, some for more mild purposes, but I really don't think I could be a "one guitar" kind of guy.

This. Mine all inspire me in different ways.

I could easily do one guitar as long as people didnt want things recorded in alternate tunings. That's really my only reason for more than one...

I've had a few friends and guys that I have played with over the years that were so bonded with one instrument they really didn't see a need for any others (one guy I played with had a single guitar and probably 12 amps though). I do kind of admire that in a way, though I just don't think I could get there myself.

I am thinking 3 min.
1 Humbucker
1 Single Coil
1 Acoustic with piezo pickup.

If the humbucker has split coil option the maybe just 2. Of course I am sitting here with 6 so go figure.

I'm such a simpleton. I have 6 electrics, all Gibsons, all with humbuckers (2 are Firebirds, so a different kind of humbucker but still a humbucker) and even though I keep trying to talk myself into a P-90 guitar I just can't seem to pull the trigger on single coils.
