Well, folks...it's happening again. As many of you have learned by now, I go through these periods where I become obsessed with one guitar.

That is the guitar what is known as the "Paul du Les", AKA the Les Paul.

I'm sorry 'bout this, ladies and gentlemen, but I've been unable to find any medical treatment for this condition.

I mean, at a gig last weekend, I used my Les Paul for a few tunes where I normally use my Strat!

Is that so wrong?

So...here we go again...a couple of pics...

I don't mean to drag you all into my mental issues....it just happens sometimes!

I like the silver burst.
You don't see those too often.

My 2012 silver burst SG spl with the mini humbuckers inspires obsession periodically.
The neck is excellent... it sports the "70s Thick to thin carve" ...whatever that is.
Whatever it is, it's fast and comfortable. There 's a volute at the headstock joint.
This is a much more plain guitar than the OP's... but decorations mean nothing.
It's the tone and the feel.

The mini humbuckers don't sound like anyone else's guitar... when I play this
I sound like me. It growls, it shrieks, it doesn't hum.
I've owned this guitar since 2013 and keep finding new reasons to obsess over
it.
