Literally, for the first time in my life, I've just listened to Frank Marino.

That's right...I never heard any Mahogany Rush before.

I know....I know....go ahead and laugh...or gasp!

In an odd way, I almost hear a touch of Eric Johnson in his style. Let's just say, I'm liking the vibe. There's a hint of psychedelia too, which is always a plus for me.

I guess I have a lot of music to catch up on here.

Where would y'all recommend I begin?

(I think I'll start by taking a very appreciative look at my SG....love that guitar!)

I had seen him in a he 70’s
My friend from school was mad at me a couple of years ago because Frank is not on the top of my list among other great players.

We went to every rock concert that came along in the 70’s. Once out of school we moved on in life. My musical journey turned more toward harder rock and metal.

I've seen him several times over the years, and probably a fan since '76-'77.

Here are my suggestions for albums to check out (not necessarily in order of some people's opinions of best at top).

Child of the Novelty
Tales of the Unexpected
Double Live
IV
Juggernaut
The Power of Rock and Roll

One of my local high-fi stores had Juggernaut as the album you had to listen to while checking out speakers, and other hi end gear. Strange Dreams was usually the song that they made people listen to. Dark Side of the Moon was one of the other albums for trying out gear.
